Go Solar Cart was created out of the desire to keep electric golf carts running and charging by utilizing solar technology. Through the process of first working with traditional solar panels and brackets, Chadd Jonesmith imagined the Universal Solar Canopy for golf carts, and has now brought it to market. 

This is a light-weight frame that houses a 200W flexible solar panel from our partner, Renogy. The canopy is capable of providing constant charge when exposed to daylight, direct or indirect, getting you further and having the peace of mind that you are far less likely to get stranded somewhere. The canopy charges at a rate similar to it being plugged into an outlet, charging a typical 12V batter, lead acid or lithium ion, in approximately 1.5-2 hours. The Universal Solar Canopy is also a great way to reduce your carbon footprint and save money on energy costs.
